How do I send and receive funds using HushPay App?
Using stealth addresses is a three-step process: Setup, Sending, and Withdrawing.
Setting up your Stealth Keys turns your wallet into a Stealth Address Controller. When someone sends funds to you:
1. They do not send ETH directly to your main wallet address.
2. Instead, they use your address to derive a unique, one-time Stealth Address.
3. The funds are deposited into that unique address, ensuring that no one looking at the blockchain can link the payment back to your main account.
Step 1: Setup (Recipient)
Before you can receive a private payment, you must set up your Stealth Keys.
1. Connect your Recipient Wallet.
2. Navigate to the Setup page.
3. Generate and publish your Stealth Keys. This allows the protocol to create private addresses for you without knowing your main wallet address.
Step 2: Sending (Sender)
1. Disconnect the recipient wallet and connect your Sender Wallet.
2. Go to the Send page.
3. Enter the Recipient’s Wallet Address and the amount of ETH.
4. Click Send.
Note Behind the scenes, the protocol generates a unique, one-time "stealth address" on the blockchain that only the recipient can unlock.
Step 3: Receiving & Withdrawing (Recipient)
1. Disconnect the sender wallet and reconnect your Recipient Wallet.
2. Go to the Receive page. The app will scan the network for any stealth funds belonging to you.
3. Once the funds appear, click Withdraw.
4. Enter the destination address where you want the funds to finally land (this could be your current wallet or a completely new one for maximum privacy).,
